Just booked! BLAIR DUNLOP
BBC FOLK Award winner and former Hollywood actor Blair Dunlop is the latest addition to the Purbeck Folk festival. The 22-year-old scooped the prestigious BBC Horizon Award last year, for his first album Blight and Blossom.
Folk music is a family affair for Blair, whose dad is bass guitarist and founder of Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span, Ashley Hutchings, and whose mum is singer Judy Dunlop. This year saw Blair release the musically adventurous second album, House of Jacks – and will play Purbeck with his widely praised trio that includes BBC Folk Award nominee Katriona Gilmore on fiddle.

“We personally believe in purchasing local whole food and we limit our exposure wherever possible to chemicals and the processed food industry, said Steve “We produce our beers with the same philosophy, using only natural ingredients with no additives.”
Corfe Castle Brewery is a family owned micro-brewery producing high quality character beers for local independently owned pubs, hotels, shops and beer festivals within Dorset. So if you are coming to the festival from outside Dorset, make sure you try a pint of true Dorset ale
