Farm Site

Wilkswood is a working farm and it takes weeks of preparation to turn this into the magical festival environment that we’re used to. You have to remember that it is a farm though. Some areas are pretty dark and there are areas of uneven ground. Bring a torch with you and watch where you’re going!

The middle barn magically gets transformed into the festival bar. Two of the stages are either side of this and they’re covered so if it rains, you won’t get wet listening or dancing to the music. The festival is at Wilkswood Farm. This is a sheep farm in the village of Langton Matravers between the towns of Corfe and Swanage.

“2009 Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group Conservation Award (FWAG)”. The farm encompasses over 600 acres of land devoted to conservation and environmental protection of a wide range of habitats. This is vital for the survival of many species of orchids, butterflies, grasses, wild flowers, amphibians, farm and woodland birds and horse shoe bats to name but a few!
