Tents, Campers, Caravans
are all welcome for the folk festival
at Wilkswood Farm
and included in the weekend ticket price
Camping on the Friday and Saturday night is included in the festival price. £50 if you book early. You can get in early for a good spot as the farm runs as a campsite all year round, if you do want to stay on Thursday or Wednesday night it's no problem. Adults are £5 per night and chidren are £2.50, the farmer will come around the field and collect your money. When the festival starts we will issue wristbands for each paying family member and a ticket for your tent so he knows who has paid. If you want to stay a few more days, no problem, again just pay the farmer when he comes to see you.
Come the Friday the majority of the festival goers will arrive. We have camping fields about 150 yards walk from the festival stages.The fields are part hilly, part flat so it is probably best to arrive early to choose your spot.
You can drive to your pitch (5MPH max). Bring your bikes, as we want to have vehicle movements to a minimum...easy on the legs and good for the enviroment too.
Tent sizes - Almost any tent should be fine - (we'd draw the line at marquees!). It is a big spacious site.
Camper vans / Caravans - All are welcome, the site tends to be quite hilly but there are flat areas for campers and caravans. The camping and caravan area is ample.
Camp fires - are permitted please do not raid the woods, buy some wood from the farm, the woods need to be cared for. Please keep any fires fairly small.
Rubbish - bins will be provided, sort the recyclables though, take them home will be best.
Toilets - good toilets are provided both on the campsite and in the festival area.
Showers are located on the campsite.
The farm has only recently begun being used as a campsite. They are expecting quite a lot of camping in August. The campsite will be for the exclusive use of the festival during the weekend 3 - 5 September.
